A classic Martin Handcraft Imperial with the "M" bell and #2 bore. The horn has not been overhauled and the original lacquer is probably about 70-80%. The valves show some wear in the photo but the compression is not just good it is excellent with each valve producing a solid "pop" when the slide is removed. The main tuning slide stop rod has been removed as shown in the photo. There is a small dent on the bell bow but otherwise the horn is in great shape. An aftermarket, non-original case is included but no mouthpiece.

The #2 medium bore was the most popular of the era much like it was with the Committee model that followed. The "M" bell is rumored to be the same model bell used on the Committee.
